Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver a welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and ensure displays are fresh and organized.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, use store technology for tasks, and follow food safety and quality procedures. This role involves working across departments and staying active in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
