Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk in the Town of Plainfield, NY area to deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and friendly service across merchandising tasks. You will help keep the store running smoothly while positively impacting the community we serve.

You will stock, assist customers, and operate technology for daily tasks, in a role spanning multiple departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery. Meijer supports growth with benefits and development programs.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job’s location.
