Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Delegation Operations Auditor to oversee auditing of contracted medical groups, IPAs, and plans for DHCS/CMS/DMHC compliance. This role requires coordinating with internal departments, reviewing new regulations, and monitoring internal controls to ensure contractual and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Requires 7 years of prior relevant experience in auditing delegated entities for DHCS requirements specific to provider training and education as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion with an emphasis on health equity
• Requires strong experience in auditing of internal controls, knowledge of all areas of health care delegated functions to assure a delegated provider has a strong understanding of CMS, DHCS, DMHC, etc. requirements and is meeting all contractual and regulatory requirements
• Requires experience with delegated provider group relations
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards and regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee auditing of delegated entities and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments on oversight activities
• Review new regulations and oversee implementation by contracted entities
• Monitor internal controls, ownership, and organizational structure as related to regulatory compliance
• Report to Sr. Manager, Delegation Operations and support leadership development initiatives
