Job summary

Tava Health is seeking a Delegated Credentialing Specialist to own day-to-day credentialing across payer relationships. You will manage audits, prepare materials, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliant, timely credentialing for providers.

You will lead Credentialing Committee activities, maintain audit-ready records, and support new delegated agreements. A CPCS credential and 2–5 years in credentialing are preferred, with strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years credentialing/enrollment; at least 2 years in delegated credentialing
• CPCS certification
• Manage multiple payer relationships with minimal oversight
• Attention to detail, organization, and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High-growth/tech-enabled healthcare background preferred; behavioral health a plus
• Familiarity with CAQH, NPDB, PECOS, state licensing, credentialing software, and payer rostering tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee delegated credentialing activities for assigned payer portfolio
• Monitor NCQA guidance and state regulations; implement compliance changes
• Prepare for pre-delegation and annual audits; track corrective actions
• Maintain audit-ready credentialing records
• Prepare recurring deliverables for delegated partners and payers
• Monitor time to credential and escalate delays
• Coordinate with Enrollment, Partnerships, Revenue Cycle, Legal/Compliance
• Serve as point of contact for payer communications
• Support new delegated credentialing agreements
