Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Trafford, PA is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver materials to job sites, maintaining compliance with DOT and company policies. You will load/unload, inspect equipment, and provide world class customer service while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include driving defensively, following safety procedures, and collaborating with a team to meet delivery deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL); Minimum Class B; Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Lifting heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.

Position Summary

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world class customer service experience.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time. Must be able to lift up to 80-100 lbs. for loading/unloading. Frequently moves materials weighing up to 80 lbs. Must operate commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle. Must judge distance while delivering materials. Must work outside environment while making deliveries.
