Job summary

Anomatic is seeking a Degreasing Team Lead for the 2nd shift in Newark, OH. This production role directs daily operations of the degreasing process, supervises the team, and ensures parts are properly prepared for anodizing.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong organizational and math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position includes standard benefits and requires overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Strong basic math skills.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Capable of differentiating part numbers and customers.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good mechanical skills helpful in troubleshooting & repair of machine.
• Ability to work overtime on little to no notice sometimes.

Responsibilities

• Overall supervision of the degreasing system machinery and related components.
• Direct the daily activities of degreasing personnel.
• Create schedules for degreasing personnel as well as tracking temp labor hours as needed.
• Maintain daily log and inventory reports.
• Assist Warehouse Manager in scheduling parts to be degreased.
• Troubleshoot daily process problems.
• Interface with Waste Treatment Department on waste disposal matters.
• Ensure proper weight counting procedures are followed.
• Load and unload parts, weigh parts, and maintain proper records.
• Maintain a clean work area and safe working practices.

Location: Newark

Department: Degreasing

Reports to: Business Support Manager

Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm

JOB SUMMARY

This production floor position is responsible for assisting in prioritizing and directing daily operations with department personnel as well as the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for anodizing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Overall supervision of the degreasing system machinery and related components
• Direct the daily activities of degreasing personnel
• Create schedules for degreasing personnel as well as tracking temp labor hours as needed
• Maintain daily log and inventory reports
• Assist Warehouse Manager in scheduling parts to be degreased
• Troubleshoot daily process problems
• Interface with Waste Treatment Department on waste disposal matters
• Ensure proper weight counting procedures are followed
• All duties listed below as described in the degreaser operator position:

• Properly load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing
• Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
• Maintain clean work area including but not limited to:
• Empty trash
• Sweep degreasing area
• Dry floor as needed
• Set and operate scale to do accurate piece counts
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on skid
• Maintain, properly store, and wear appropriate safety equipment
