Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Defined Contribution Analyst/Associate in Alpharetta, GA to support OCIO portfolio management for Defined Contribution clients. You will work with Portfolio Managers to build investment menus and learn Morgan Stanley systems such as Morningstar and eVestment.

The role requires an undergraduate degree, FINRA licenses (7/66 or 63/65) or willingness to obtain within 180 days, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses (or 63 and 65) required or willingness to obtain within 180 days of hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Managers to build and manage client investment menus and portfolios for OCIO's Defined Contribution clients.
• Learn and utilize Morgan Stanley systems (wealth planning and portfolio analysis tools like Morningstar and eVestment).
• Conduct analytical work on OCIO Defined Contribution team, including portfolio, manager selection, trade analyses.
• Interface with internal and external partners (research, trading, operations, product specialists, vendors, custodians, recordkeepers).
• Support production of client reporting materials and industry commentary.
• Contribute to Defined Contribution new business development, including RFP responses and prospect-facing content.
