Job summary

SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer - Mid Level - Ground Tactical Vehicles to support our Washington Area Operation from Quantico, VA. The role requires mechanical engineering expertise and hands-on experience with military ground systems, CAD modeling, and system integration.

The position offers 20% travel, eligibility for U.S. citizenship, and a competitive benefits package including insurance, 401k, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• USMC / DoW Systems Engineering including management of Technical Reviews and development of ECPs.
• Strong experience in creating CAD models using Solidworks and Creo.
• Experience with Windchill and CMPro for data and configuration management.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing.
• Ability to write and develop technical briefs, reports, and correspondence.
• Experience in requirements development, test and evaluation, production quality, and FEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical, automotive, and systems engineering expertise in support of USMC.
• Support Program Manager – Motor Transport and vehicle/ trailer systems.
• Perform CAD/technical data development and management using Solidworks, Creo, Windchill.
• Conduct analysis, ECP development, system integration, and documentation.
• Support additive manufacturing process development and initiatives.
• Provide engineering analyses including vehicle performance predictions and test planning.
• Participate in SE Technical Reviews and update technical documentation per standards.
• Review vendor data per ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000 and assess test data.
