Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the 96 TW at Eglin AFB, FL. You will perform daily system administration, patch management with Ivanti, and oversee CAC infrastructure and RSA tokens to keep networks secure.

Requires U.S. citizenship, DoD 8140-aligned certification, and a BS/MS in an applicable field with 0–10+ years of experience; on-site, 8–5, M-F, with some travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Level 2: BS in applicable field with up to 3 years experience.
• Level 3: BS in applicable field with 3–10 years experience.
• Level 4: BS or MS in applicable field with 10+ years experience.
• Must obtain Secret DoW clearance with active investigation.
• DoW 8140-aligned certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA, Linux+) is required or approved by 8140 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system administration tasks for network infrastructure.
• Oversee voice and data infrastructure upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support servers, network devices, and software.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and DoD requirements.
• Manage CAC infrastructure and RSA token authentication.
• Patch systems using Ivanti and address security updates.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate monitoring of critical services.
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs; provide end-user support.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for upgrades and modernization.
