Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage supplier performance, execute subcontracts, and lead cost, schedule, and quality outcomes for space and defense programs.

The role requires 8–10 years of U.S. defense procurement experience, strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, and the ability to negotiate complex contracts. On-site with one day per week work-from-home, travel about 10%, and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or Supply Chain is required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10 years procurement in DoD environment.
• Experience managing suppliers and RFPs.
• Experience with complex contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes.
• Lead RFPs, bids, and negotiation activities.
• Oversee subcontract execution and compliance tracking.
• Maintain subcontract artifacts and performance metrics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FAR/DFARS, ITAR).
