Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs is seeking a Program Manager to lead multiple R&D programs within the High Power Electromagnetics Division.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage cost/schedule, interact with government sponsors, and deliver end-user products while ensuring quality and schedule commitments. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of PM experience (5–7 with master’s), strong communication, and the ability to obtain DoD security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or project field.
• 2–4 years of program management experience.
• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• May require light physical effort (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cost, schedule, and tasking for multiple R&D HPEM programs.
• Liaising between customers, technical leads, and engineering teams to meet objectives.
• Providing leadership to multi-disciplinary teams to achieve milestones.
• Communicating directions to technicians up to senior scientists.
