Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Defense Mission Expert, Lead to provide acquisition expertise for the United States Space Force. You will help plan funding, draft budget artifacts, and support leadership with strategic and acquisition process improvements in a fast-paced government environment.

The role requires 5+ years of USSF/USAF experience, DoD process knowledge, and the ability to brief senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of USSF/USAF acquisition experience.
• Experience generating POM and PPBE for an operational program.
• Experience with DoD 5000.02 and 5000.74 processes.
• Experience communicating with contractors and in a client environment.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/AFFARS regulations.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and brief leadership clearly.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition expertise to USSF.
• Collaborate with financial management to plan out-year funding from appropriations.
• Write PPBE budget artifacts for NDAA and defense budgets.
• Support a Budget Analyst with budgets and spend plans; coordinate monthly spend plan meetings.
• Develop and document USSF acquisition strategies (ASD, J&A, ASP briefs).
• Develop, implement, and improve USSF acquisition processes.
• Develop and maintain acquisition templates and training materials.
