Job summary

The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a Supervisory General Supply Specialist in San Diego, CA. You will serve as the Accountable Officer for a Defense Distribution Center and oversee the Inventory Accuracy Program to ensure accurate physical balance records.

You will conduct studies, develop plans of action and milestones (POAMs), and enforce DoD regulations and DLA policies. This role requires leadership, regulatory expertise, and proactive program oversight.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience in inventory programs.
• Experience conducting studies, system reviews, and making recommendations.
• Experience in stock control and storage programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Accountable Officer for a Defense Distribution Center.
• Maintain and administer the DDC Inventory Accuracy Program.
• Oversee DoD regulations and DLA policy for inventory.
• Perform studies and reviews to improve accuracy of physical balance records.
