Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Defense Industry Analyst in Maryland to perform comprehensive all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial programs and capabilities. The role focuses on enabling FMI and TI intelligence, with emphasis on naval, cyber, and strategic defense sectors, under tight security requirements.

The analyst will examine facilities, supply chains, and technologies, evaluating foreign production, R&D, and acquisition activities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent degree required.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Top Secret/SI with active polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial programs, capabilities, and infrastructure supporting military force development and sustainment.
• Assess foreign research, development, acquisition, testing, evaluation, and production of weapon systems and military equipment.
• Evaluate defense industrial supply chains from raw materials to finished weapon systems, including industrial processes, control systems, design cycles, and surge capacity.
• Analyze cooperative arrangements with foreign defense industries and reliance on foreign technologies.
• Support the DCIP through coordinated all‑source analysis of foreign strategic and military industrial sectors.
• Assess threats across cyber capabilities, strategic military systems, missile defense programs, terrorism, and foreign intelligence operations.
• Identify DCIP‑related threat knowledge gaps and intelligence shortfalls involving state and non‑state cyber actors.
• Validate existing collection strategies, requirements, methodologies, and counterintelligence considerations.
• Develop indicators identifying intentions, capabilities, programs, and actions of potential threat actors.
