Job summary

Castelion is seeking a skilled Carpenter to perform maintenance, repair, and finish carpentry for industrial facilities. This hands-on role requires woodworking expertise, blueprint interpretation, and a focus on safety and reliability.

The position involves building and repairing structural components, installing finishes, and supporting lab and production space expansions. California driver’s license and 5+ years in carpentry are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of carpentry-related experience and ability to inspect, identify, and repair systems.
• Own basic carpentry hand and power tools.
• Active California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair structural elements such as doors and partitions.
• Install and repair finish materials like drywall, ceilings, carpet, tile, paint.
• Perform basic roof repairs to maintain building integrity.
• Repair and maintain fixtures, cabinetry, shelving throughout the facility.
• Read blueprints and specifications for construction projects.
• Inspect facilities to identify structural or safety issues.
• Support buildout and reconfiguration of lab, office, and production spaces.
• Capable of core drilling, lagging, and installing stud walls.
• Install and assemble furniture and equipment.
• Assist in managing site-wide operations and on-call tasks.
