Job summary

ClearBridge Technology Group is assisting a government systems integrator in recruiting five Cyber Intrusion Analysts for a 12-month, onsite contract at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Analysts will perform network incident detection and response for a DoD/DISA program, monitor Splunk and Elastic, and conduct real-time triage and log analysis.

Applicants should have a Secret clearance (Top-Secret preferred), 4+ years in cyber defense, scripting skills (Perl/Python/Shell), and experience with firewalls,

Qualifications

• 4+ years overall security experience, preferably with a bachelor’s degree.
• Active Secret clearance; Top-Secret preferred.
• Experience with CND duties: firewall/IDS/IPS, auditing network traffic, hardening devices, security policies.
• Scripting skills: Perl, Python and/or Shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Monitoring of IDS and computer defense appliances (Splunk, Elastic).
• Experience evaluating packet captures.
• Prior experience supporting DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform network incident detection and response.
• Monitor security tools (Splunk and Elastic).
• Conduct near real-time event triage and log analysis.
• Analyze network traffic using packet data, netflow, IDS/IPS.
• Support enterprise DoD program.
