Job summary

Jobot is assisting a growing national litigation firm seeking a defense attorney for a partner-track opportunity in New Mexico (Albuquerque or Remote Within NM). The role offers salary $130,000–$200,000 and flexibility to work remotely, on-site, or hybrid from an Albuquerque location.

You will defend insurance matters across auto, construction defect, workers' comp, and general liability, with 2+ years of insurance-defense experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance defense experience
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
• Strong communication and client-reporting abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation
• Take and defend depositions
• Handle motion practice and discovery
• Appear in court, participate in mediations and arbitrations
• Communicate with clients and provide regular updates
• Prepare for and assist with trial
• Collaborate with mentor attorneys to build a book of business
