Job summary

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) as part of the Department of War oversees acquisition responsibilities, inspecting contractor work and ensuring deliverables meet contract terms. This role requires evaluative review of reports, plans and invoices under assigned contracts.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of specialized experience and meet three of five core criteria, including program management across baselines, team coordination, and clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to NH-02/GS-11 in the Federal service.
• Experience in managing major Defense Acquisition Programs across multiple baselines.
• Ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams and stakeholders.
• Experience drafting acquisition artifacts for management.
• Strong oral and written communication with problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, review and verify contractor work efforts, deliverables, reports, plans and invoices under assigned contracts.
• Support acquisition management activities and provide recommendations to resolve acquisition problems.
