Job summary

ASB Freight Co. is seeking an experienced Class A driver for regional store-delivery across the Mid-Atlantic. This role offers weekly home time with a 48-hour reset and consistent days off, supporting store deliveries with a 100% touch-freight setup using a powered pallet jack.

Job description

Regional Store Delivery – Class A Driver

We are hiring experienced Class A drivers for a dedicated store-delivery operation serving locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

This position combines regional driving with hands-on delivery work. Drivers are home each week for a consistent 48-hour reset and have the same two days off each week.

This is a driver-unload account, so applicants should be comfortable with a more active driving position. A powered pallet jack is provided for unloading freight at store locations.

THE ROUTE

Drivers operate within a regional service area that includes:

Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Delaware and West Virginia

Freight moves on both dry van and refrigerated trailers. Routes consist primarily of deliveries to established store locations within the account's operating area.

SCHEDULE & HOME TIME

This account offers a consistent weekly routine:

• Home every week
• 48 consecutive hours at home
• Same two days off each week
• Dedicated regional freight
• Regular store-delivery routes

Exact dispatch and delivery times will depend on assigned freight and route requirements.

DELIVERY WORK

Drivers are responsible for unloading freight at each delivery location using a powered pallet jack.

Because this is a 100% touch-freight account, candidates should be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with store deliveries throughout their shift.

Primary responsibilities include operating the tractor-trailer safely, completing scheduled deliveries, unloading freight, conducting required equipment inspections and maintaining required transportation documentation.

COMPENSATION

Drivers on this account average approximately $1,500–$1,750 per week.

A sign-on bonus is available for eligible drivers.

Pay is issued weekly through direct deposit. Additional incentive opportunities may be available based on eligibility.

Individual earnings can vary depending on assigned routes, miles, schedule and other applicable compensation factors.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL
• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a minimum of 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Be able to perform driver-unload duties safely
• Be comfortable using a powered pallet jack
• Be authorized to work in the United States

A stable employment and driving history is preferred.
