Job summary

Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Stillwater Middle School to provide instructional and behavioral support to students with special needs. Transferring and lifting students may be required; experience with special needs is preferred.

The position offers 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday on student contact days, with an ASAP start date. Diversity is encouraged and documentation of qualifications is required.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following educational qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate degree.
• Alternatively 60+ hours of post-secondary education can qualify.
• A passing score on the ParaPro Exam is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs.
• Transferring/lifting of students may be required.
• Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students.
