Job summary

NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer focused Independent Contractor to service a Fort Wayne route. This opportunity requires an SUV or larger vehicle and offers per-day compensation with a consistent schedule.

As a driver, you\'ll deliver with precision, plan efficient routes, and provide exceptional customer service while meeting safety and pre-employment requirements. You can earn around $160 per day on a three-day weekly schedule and grow with additional routes as available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• SUV or larger vehicle, 2016 model year or newer.
• Own a vehicle that can pass a multi point inspection.
• Smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Valid driver\'s license and commercial insurance with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Successfully pass a comprehensive pre employment process including Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse Screening.

Your Mission

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
• Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
• Problem Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.

Route Details & Schedule (Fort Wayne Area)

• Compensation: $160 per day (Average weekly commission: $480).
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Start/End Time: 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Headquarters).
• Required Vehicle: SUV or larger.
• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 120 miles per route.
• Daily Stops: Approximately 10.
• Geographical Area: Fort Wayne, Warsaw, Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger.
• Sorting: Minimal.

Vehicle Requirements:

• Candidates must possess an SUV or larger vehicle.
• The vehicle must be 2016 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.

To maintain our industry leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:
