Job summary

CIS Security is seeking a part-time Patrol Officer in Visalia, CA, to perform routine patrols and respond to incidents. You will document observations, write incident reports, and provide excellent service while maintaining a professional appearance.

The role requires graveyard shifts, weekends, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely; prior security experience is a plus. This position offers growth in a dynamic security team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• BSIS Security Guard License or eligible to obtain; preferred if already held.
• One year of security/patrol experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete patrols on the Run Sheet assigned to each Patrol Beat.
• Conduct routine patrols on foot or in vehicle to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including alarms.
• Assist other Patrol Officers with calls to ensure officer safety.
• Observe and report information for CIS Security clients.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete all patrols on the Run Sheet assigned to each Patrol Beat.
• Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas on foot or in vehicle to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including alarms and other calls for service.
• Assist other Patrol Officers with calls when additional assistance is needed to ensure officer safety.
• Observe and report information for CIS Security clients.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must hold a Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (“BSIS”) Security Guard License or be eligible to obtain a Security Guard License. Applicants with VALID guard card are preferred.
• Prefer one or more years' experience as a Security or Patrol Officer, but not required.
