Job summary

Schneider National in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced CDL Class A driver for dedicated driving. You will haul parts in liftgate trailers, perform occasional hand unloads with a pallet jack, and do drop-and-hook freight while navigating night routes.

Expect about 5 loads per week with 1-5 stop-offs, and routes across GA, NC, SC and TN. Schneider offers strong pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must drive at night.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required at time of hire.
• Live within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul parts in liftgate trailers.
• 0%-100% hand unloads using pallet jack.
• 0%-100% drop-and-hook freight.
• Drive at night with slow-speed maneuvers and back-control.
• 5 loads per week with 1-5 stops per load.
• Drive within GA, NC, SC and TN.
