Herman N Logistics is seeking dependable Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated local food distribution account in Colorado. Drivers will run daily routes from Fort Morgan to Commerce City and return home each night, earning weekly pay and a strong benefits package.

Compensation includes $0.63–$0.67 per mile, $29 per stop, and $5 per load, plus training pay and other listed rates. Home daily, within 300 miles of Denver, with onboarding in Denver.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card.
• Able to work weekends.

Responsabilités

• Unload palletized meat at customer site using a dolly and pallet jack.
• Haul reefer trailers with frozen meat from Fort Morgan to Commerce City.
• Provide high level customer service during deliveries.

Pay & Bonuses

• Weekly Earnings: ~$1,538.46 per week
• Yearly Earnings: $80,000 per year
• Per-Mile Rate: $0.63 – $0.67 per mile
• Activity Pay: $29.00 per stop + $5.00 per load
• Additional Hourly/Daily Rates:
• New Hire Training / Holiday Pay: $200.00 per day
• Breakdown, Trailer Moves & Trailer Washouts: $15.00 per hour
• Safety Training: $20.00 per hour

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Time: Home daily every single night
• Operating Area: Local routes operating within a 300-mile radius of Denver, Colorado

Routes, Freight & Equipment Details

• Account Type: Dedicated food distribution (Cargill Meat account)
• Route: Hauling reefer trailers with pallets of frozen meat from the distribution center in Fort Morgan, Colorado to a drop yard in Commerce City, Colorado.
• Freight Handling (Labor Intensive):
• Unload palletized meat to freezers at customer site using a dolly, electric pallet jack, and liftgates.
• Boxes average 10–85 lbs (must be willing and able to lift up to 85 lbs as needed).
• High level of customer service required due to frequent customer interactions.
• Equipment: Automatic day cabs (slip seating required; trucks remain at the account for time off).
• Onboarding & Support: Onboarding and training take place in Denver, Colorado (driver may assist other dedicated accounts as needed).
