TranSouth Logistics is seeking a full-time CDL-A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas. You will handle daily round trips to Chattanooga, TN, with no-touch freight. This local position offers a salaried pay of $55,000 per year, benefits, bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Hazmat preferred but not required.

Requirements include CDL-A, 1+ year tractor-trailer experience, clean MVR, and ability to pass a background check and DOT drug test. Work location is in person in Dalton, GA.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license required.
• 1+ years trunk-tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record with ≤1 moving violation.
• Background check and DOT drug/alcohol test required.
• Skilled at driving large vehicles and maneuvering a tractor-trailer.
• Able to back into spaces and park confidently.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes with daily round trips; home daily.

TranSouth Logistics specializes in trucking, deliveries and warehousing. Our distribution centers are located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.

We are seeking a Full-Time CDL A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas. Driver will cover daily round trip to Chattanooga, TN. No Touch Freight, 526 miles. Our drivers work Monday through Friday. Ideal candidates will have a good MVR and CSA, hazmat endorsement preferred not required, and at least 1-year verifiable CDL A experience. Our drivers enjoy a salaried position and make a starting pay of $55,000.00 per year. We offer great benefits, paid holidays and performance bonuses. $2,000 Sign on Bonus! We offer great benefits!

Truck Driver Requirements And Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license required
• 1+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.
