Salary: Top 50% average $84,798 per year

CPM: Starting pay $.58 to $.61 cpm

Experience: One-year verifiable tractor trailer experience with a class A CDL

The most productive 50 percent of our Crete Carrier and Shaffer Trucking OTR drivers average more than $101,176 annually. That equates to over $1,945 weekly; $.64 to $.67 CPM. The top 50% of our Hunt Transportation drivers average $93,347 annually ($1,795 per week), with starting pay ranging from $0.65 to $0.68 per mile. We also offer comprehensive and affordable health insurance, matching 401k and a profit-sharing plan that contributed $11.5 million in 2025 and more than $103 million to employee retirement accounts since 2018.
