Job summary

Signal Security is hiring Dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to provide a professional, visible security presence at a residential community. If you're dependable, observant, and take pride in helping keep people safe, we want to meet you.

This full-time, in-person role offers a consistent day schedule, Monday–Friday, with consecutive days off each week. You will receive on-site training, uniforms, and opportunities for career advancement within a growing national franchise.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Security Guard License required for hire.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Professional appearance with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the property.
• Maintain a highly visible, professional security presence.
• Enforce site policies and quiet hours.
• Complete scheduled patrols and electronic tour checkpoints.
• Inspect doors, gates, fences, lighting, and common areas for security concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, safety hazards, and maintenance issues.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, clients, coworkers, and law enforcement.
• Help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
