The Driving Desk in Texas is seeking Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated retail account covering Texas and surrounding states. Expect consistent freight, competitive pay, weekly home time, and multiple earning ways including mileage, stop, detention, and layover pay.

Most trips run 2–3 days out with weekly home time; preloaded dry van trailers deliver to retail stores across TX, OK, AR, LA, NM, CO, KS. Valid CDL-A and 3 months of verifiable experience required; strong communication and DOT

We're hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated retail account serving Texas and surrounding states. This position offers consistent freight, competitive pay, weekly home time, and multiple ways to earn through mileage, short-haul, stop, detention, and layover pay.

Drivers are typically out 2–3 days at a time before returning home.

Pay & Compensation

• Average weekly earnings: $1,300–$1,400
• $0.67 CPM
• $115 flat rate for runs under 150 miles
• $25 stop pay
• $25 drop & hook pay
• $30/hour detention pay after 2 hours
• $175 layover pay after 24 hours without freight
• $125 Truck Ordered Not Used (TONU) pay
• $20/hour for temporary assignments
• $27/hour for yard switcher duties (when assigned)
• Additional backhaul pay opportunities may be available

Home Time

• Weekly home time
• Most trips are 2–3 days out
• Weekend home time is common depending on freight and dispatch
