Required are U.S. citizenship, MMC with at least ten months remaining, and QMED endorsements, plus related sea or engineering experience. The position supports military logistics operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship, 18 years or older.
• U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with minimum remaining validity of 10 months.
• MMC endorsed as Qualified Member of Engine Department (QMED) Deck Engineer or related engine ratings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate deck and UNREP machinery and related handling equipment.
• Observe and perform quality assurance on work by shipyard or shore personnel.
• Participate in firefighting, boat, and damage control drills as required.
