Highmark is looking for a Decision Support Analyst to provide analysis and support for projects and data analysis. The role involves fostering internal relationships and mentoring colleagues, while focusing on translating requirements into effective decision support solutions.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills with programming languages and database technology are essential.
The position ensures secure delivery of information and may require some lifting in an office environment.
This job works closely with customers and design teams in prioritizing data and information requirements. The incumbent provides analysis in the development and support of projects and data analysis. Determines how decision support systems will provide information required to make effective business decisions; translates requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools. Recommends innovative approaches to analytical investigations. Performs modeling of data sources and flows, works with data management staff to define an operational framework that defines, develops and implements policies and security frameworks to ensure precise and secure delivery of knowledge and information.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Information Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer/Information Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Operations Research, or related field.
Required: 3 years of relevant, progressive experience in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research, or related field (exempted experience requirements effective August 2016).
Preferred: Experience and demonstrated proficiency as a Decision Support Analyst or equivalent training and experience in a business or clinical environment with direct responsibility for applying technology.

Pay Range Minimum: $68,400.00 – Pay Range Maximum: $105,900.00. Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
