Job summary

ZS, a leading management consulting and technology firm, seeks a Decision Analytics Consultant in the Insights & Analytics Group to tackle retrospective evidence generation for pharmaceutical clients using Real‑World Data (RWD) and Real‑World Evidence (RWE).

You will work with clients and internal teams to identify data sources and analytical methods and deliver actionable insights to support HEOR studies and budget impact modeling.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative/health-related discipline such as Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, or HEOR.
  • 6+ years of relevant full-time professional experience in RWD/RWE/HEOR or related analytics roles.
  • Experience with HEOR, budget impact modeling, and retrospective evidence generation is highly preferred.
  • Industry experience with pharmaceutical clients and ability to work effectively with HEOR scientists.

  • Develop domain expertise in RWD, RWE, HEOR, contributing to talent development and evidence delivery capabilities.
  • Support selling and delivery of retrospective evidence generation projects as part of the analytics team.

ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem‑solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.

What You’ll Do
  • Leverage Real‑World Data (RWD) and Real‑World Evidence (RWE) analytics skills to answer questions related to retrospective evidence generation for pharmaceutical clients.

  • Develop domain expertise in RWD, RWE, HEOR, and health economics, contributing to talent development and evidence delivery capabilities.
  • Support both the selling and delivery of retrospective evidence generation projects as part of the analytics team.
What You’ll Bring
  • Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent) in a quantitative, analytical, or health‑related discipline such as Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, or HEOR. Publications and advanced research experience are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Real‑World Data (RWD), Real‑World Evidence (RWE), and advanced analytics with experience analyzing patient‑level datasets.
  • 6+ years of relevant full‑time professional experience in RWD, RWE, HEOR, or related analytics roles.
  • Experience with HEOR, budget impact modeling, and retrospective evidence generation is highly preferred.
  • Industry experience with pharmaceutical clients and ability to work effectively with HEOR scientists.
  • Demonstrated analytic problem‑solving skills and a creative, innovative approach to generating insights from complex datasets.
