Job summary

ZS Associates in Princeton is offering a Decision Analytics Associate – Intern role within the Insights & Analytics group. You will design and execute analyses to address client problems on one or more project teams and may leverage your analytic skills to uncover data‑driven insights.

At the internship’s end, performance reviews may lead to a full‑time offer. You will work with R, SAS, Tableau, VBA, and Excel to inform client needs and collaborate across teams while traveling as required.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a 3.4+ GPA and strong quantitative coursework.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in programming/analytic tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA.
  • Strong motivation, work ethic, maturity and initiative.
  • Fluency in English with effective oral and written communication.

DECISION ANALYTICS ASSOCIATE – INTERN

ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem‑solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.

Decision Analytics Associate - Interns design and execute analyses to address business problems for our clients and project teams. In particular, Interns work on one or more project teams and may leverage their analytic skills to find data‑driven insights that help our clients solve their most important business problems. At the end of the internship, interns are evaluated and considered for a full‑time employment offer.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
  • Candidates should be entering their second to last year of a bachelors or masters degree in any discipline and have an overall academic GPA of 3.4 or higher, along with a strong academic track record in quantitative and analytic coursework such as operations research, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a programming language or analytic tool such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA.
  • High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills (fluency in English).
  • Empathy, adaptability and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a quality‑focused mindset.
  • Self‑discipline for planning and organizing tasks.
  • Aptitude for, and enjoyment, of, working in teams.
