Responsibilities

• Perform precision deburring, edge finishing and surface prep on machined metal components.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges using hand/tools and finishing equipment.
• Read drawings/blueprints and inspect finished parts for dimensional and cosmetic quality.
• Maintain workflow by collaborating with machinists and inspectors.
• Identify defects and report quality concerns; keep work area clean and safe.

The company manufactures precision components used in demanding industrial applications and offers a stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform precision deburring, edge finishing, and surface preparation on machined metal components.Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections using hand tools, rotary tools, files, grinders, and other finishing equipment.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.Inspect finished components to ensure they meet dimensional, cosmetic, and quality requirements.Work with tight-tolerance machined parts while maintaining critical features and surface finishes.Identify and report defects, damaged components, or quality concerns.Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, and production personnel to maintain workflow.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.QualificationsPrevious experience in deburring, metal finishing, precision machining, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.Experience working with precision-machined metal components.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic GD&T preferred.Familiarity with deburring tools, grinders, files, and precision finishing equipment.Comfortable performing detailed, repetitive work while maintaining consistent quality.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
