Job summary

Saint-Gobain Life Sciences in Garden Grove, CA is hiring a Deburr Technician to remove burrs and finish machined plastic parts. You will use hand tools under magnification to meet specifications and quality standards, while also cleaning and prepping parts for stock.

Basic reading of blueprints and job orders is required. Preferred candidates have a HS diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing, with the ability to handle large parts as well as small components.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Experience handling large, heavy parts and small components.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written materials including blueprint drawings and job orders.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, excess material, and surface imperfections from machined plastic components using hand tools under magnification.
• Ensure parts meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Clean and degrease components in a surfactant and bag parts for stock.
