Job summary

Verus Aerospace, LLC in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a diligent Finishing Operator to smooth and blend rough components into finished products. You will read blueprints and specifications and perform machine and hand finishing with sanding tools while maintaining safety and quality.

You will stand up to 10 hours, lift parts as required, and follow all policies. Basic shop math and English literacy are essential, and you will collaborate with teammates to meet engineering requirements.

Job description

Performs machine and hand finishing techniques to smooth and blend rough components into finished products according. Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
• Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.
• Operator will be responsible for the blending of lines using multiples sanding tools to meet engineering requirements.
• Operator must have excellent hand to eye coordination and good hand dexterity.
• Must be able to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques.
• Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Education and Experience:
