Located in the Northern California foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range at a new, state-of-the-art 65,000 sq. ft. facility, start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics.**Job Summary**The Burrer Precision is responsible for the set-up and operation of deburring tools and performs methods of inspecting parts to assure conformance to blueprint specifications and manufacturing operator’s instructions.**Essential Functions:*** Set up, tear down, and manipulate rotary and manual hand tools utilizing corresponding documentation* Inspect parts to blueprint specifications* Notify Team Leader or Supervisor of problems encountered in performing these tasks* Understand deburring processes in using right tools towards making parts to blueprint specifications* Maintain and adhere to standard safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)* Any other task assigned by supervisor or management**Non-Essential Functions:*** Continuous improvement activities to improve processes in burring cycle**Minimum Qualifications:*** Experience: 0+ years of experience in working with scopes for precision burring of internal holes and cross sections* Knowledge: Knowledge of rotary and manual burring tools; Knowledge of tooling proficient to allow altering if required; Knowledge of various inspection equipment and methods of inspection; Knowledge of deburring tools for different machines* Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints; Ability to use alternate tooling or work holding devices if required; Creativity, initiative and the ability to work independently* Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent* Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
