Job summary

JLL in Charlotte, NC is seeking a DMS Analyst - Quality & Data to own end-to-end validation of new features and system changes. You will test against Acceptance Criteria in Azure DevOps, surface defects, and ensure calculations are correct from first principles before reaching clients.

You will also support data integrity and configuration tasks to keep the Debt Management System running smoothly, working with product, engineering, and client success teams. Visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• Background in finance, real estate, accounting, or a related analytical discipline.
• Ability to read and reconstruct financial calculations independently – build cashflow schedules in Excel from term sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying discrepancies or unexpected behavior.
• Comfort working with structured data in spreadsheets; trace formulas and reconcile outputs.
• Clear written communication – describe a defect, data issue, or test result clearly and actionably.
• Organized and self-directed; manage a test cycle against defined criteria with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate new features and system changes against Acceptance Criteria in Azure DevOps prior to production release.
• Execute functional, exploratory, and regression testing across the DMS, including calculations, data workflows, navigation, and usability.
• Independently replicate system calculations – loan cashflows, covenant metrics, and effective interest rates – from first principles to verify accuracy.
• Log defects, test results, and observations in ADO with detail for engineering triage and PM visibility.
• Validate UI changes, page layouts, and permissions across user profiles and data scenarios.
• Assist with release readiness reviews and provide a structured sign-off on tested features.
• Maintain and validate data records across loans, investments, funds, and properties; flag inconsistencies.
• Review and reconcile client-facing data reports, focusing on loan balances and hedge activity.
• Maintain field mappings used to load financial information from client templates.
• Modify UI page layouts to support new features or evolving client data needs.
• Provision new feature access across user groups and profiles as releases are deployed.
• Add new property financial mappings as new data types or asset classes are introduced.
• Validate system data accuracy as the platform evolves.
• Review and investigate report discrepancies flagged internally or by clients.
• Assist with change management communications and materials for new releases.
