Job summary

Louisiana State University invites applications for the position of Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine. Qualifications

• Requires DVM or equivalent (VMD, DMV, BVSc) and credentials for full professor.
• Desirable Ph.D. in a field related to veterinary medicine and/or board certification.
• Experience in leadership with oversight of personnel and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and administrative oversight for all academic life in the SVM.
• Oversee strategic planning, fiscal management, and personnel development.
• Direct the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and related facilities (LADDL, VTH&C, Library).
• Lead external initiatives, community outreach, and development for the school.
