PVCC’s standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. These hours may be modified in the summer at the college’s discretion. This is a full-time (non-exempt) position providing in-person services to students at college and community locations.
The academic dean serves as a visionary leader for the teaching and learning process in all disciplines and curricular programs in the Division and will shape the division’s growth, future, and success. This position reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Workforce Development. The successful candidate will develop, organize, plan, implement, supervise and evaluate the schedule of course offerings and curricular programs within the Division. The Division of Business, Mathematics, and Technology includes 24 degree and certificate programs including Business Administration, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Culinary, Engineering, Foundations of Criminal Justice, Information Systems Technology, and Management.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
