Job summary

Key Auto Group's Key CDJR of Rochester is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced dealership shop.

You will conduct tests, interpret diagnostics, and perform repairs in line with manufacturer specifications while communicating with the Service Advisor on any additional work and timelines. A strong focus on teamwork and customer service is essential for success.

Qualifications

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve and learn.
Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Uniforms provided.
OSHA-certified shop to current Air Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about any additional service needed and provide time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
