The Dealership Relationship Specialist serves as the primary liaison between the Credit Union and its indirect lending dealer network. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strong dealer relationships, supporting loan production growth, providing training and ongoing communication, and promoting the Credit Union's indirect lending programs in support of organizational objectives.
The Dealership Relationship Specialist manages and develops relationships with dealer partners throughout a multi-state market area through a combination of in-person visits, virtual meetings, telephone outreach, and business development activities. This position is responsible for increasing indirect loan production, strengthening dealer engagement, monitoring dealership and portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Education: Job requires a two-year college level of language, math, and reasoning skills.
AND
Experience: Three to five years of experience in financial services, consumer lending, indirect lending, dealer relationship management, automotive dealership finance or sales management, business development, account management, consumer loan underwriting, or loan operations is required.
Regular travel throughout the Credit Union's dealer network is required. Travel will primarily focus on strategic and high-volume dealership partners and may include occasional overnight stays based on territory needs and business objectives.
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.
Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
