Job summary

Labadie Auto Company is seeking a Dealership Porter in Bay City, Michigan. You will help manage vehicle flow in the service tunnel, service lane, and parking areas, and you will assist with moving and parking cars while delivering friendly customer service.

Requirements include being 18+, having a valid driver’s license and clean record, passing a motor vehicle report and drug screen, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard dealership hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle flow in the service tunnel, service lane, service drive, and parking lot.
• Coordinate with the service advisor to track tasks, clean cars, and move customer vehicles.
• Prepare customer vehicles for return after service repairs.
• Keep the parking lot and service areas clean and presentable.
• Provide courteous, service-focused support to customers.

Job Summary

As a Dealership Porter you will be responsible for keeping track of parked vehicles and making sure that the parking lot is neat and presentable. You will also be responsible for moving and parking cars on our lot and in the service tunnel, exhibit safe driving skills and provide great customer service.

Pay

$13.00 -$15.00 per hour; Based on Experience

Schedule

Full-time 40 hours a week; Overtime and flexibility to work outside dealership hours when needed. Core hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm.

Essential Job Duties

• Manage vehicle flow in our service tunnel, service lane, service drive, and within the dealership parking lot.
• Work with the dealership service advisor to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, cleaning cars, driving customer vehicles, fielding customer requests, and other assigned duties.
• Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs.
• Clean parking lot, service area, and other vehicle areas when needed.
• Service customer needs with a positive attitude.
