Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment (Bruckner Truck Sales) is offering a 9-week Summer Intern program under the direction of the General Manager. The intern will rotate through Parts, Service and Sales, helping with daily tasks, assisting customers, and planning department projects.

The role involves exposure to dealership operations, interaction with multiple teams, and travel to Amarillo, TX. We are seeking enrolled undergraduates (junior/senior) who can work full-time for the duration and contribute

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program at an accredited college.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week in a 9-week internship program.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Strong team player with effective interactions with clients, peers and dealer management.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 2 to 6 days to the Amarillo, Texas corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute one or more department projects and/or customer events.
• Gain exposure and understanding of basic dealership management principles.
• Be involved in daily operation tasks including parts, service, sales, customer interactions, inventory management & control, logistics, truck and equipment sales, vehicle financing, and business office operations.
• Plan, execute and report on one or more department projects and/or customer events.
• Facilitate a presentation for the Executive Team at the end of the internship showcasing the details of one of the department projects or events.
