Job summary

Folsom Lake Nissan in California is seeking a reliable Lot Porter to join our Service Department. You will help keep vehicles moving, support technicians and advisors, and ensure customers have a smooth, friendly experience during drop-offs and pick-ups.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior dealership experience is a plus but not required; we value a positive attitude and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior dealership or automotive experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles around the lot and service drive as needed (park, retrieve, stage for service).
• Assist service advisors and technicians with day-to-day support tasks.
• Greet customers and assist with vehicle drop-off/pick-up.
• Provide great customer service with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Keep the service lot, drive lanes, and lot organized and free of hazards.
• Transport vehicles to/from other locations as needed (e.g., detail, body shop).
• Maintain cleanliness of service area and customer waiting areas.
• Support other departments with general duties as assigned.
