Job summary

Sonic Powersports is seeking a dependable Accounting Specialist / General Office Accounting to support multiple dealership operations with accuracy and efficiency. The role involves accounts receivable, deal processing, inventory management, reconciliations, and general ledger support, contributing to orderly financial records across the dealership network.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealership accounting or powersports preferred.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile bank transactions daily.
• Post and reconcile parts statements to ensure manufacturer compliance.
• Process accounts receivable activity and follow up on balances.
• Post new and used vehicle sales deals accurately and verify compliance checklist.
• Maintain schedules for accounts payable, accounts receivable, contracts, inventory, and other accounts.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure books are complete and current.
• Perform other accounting, administrative, and operational duties as needed.
