Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking a table game dealer to manage gameplay with Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat or other approved games while upholding company policies and gaming regulations. You will interact with guests and team members, ensuring excellent service and accurate handling of transactions.

The role requires strong communication skills, adherence to procedures, and a professional demeanor on a busy casino floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Proven knowledge, training and/or experience on the assigned game required.
• Basic knowledge of all current house procedures required.
• Appropriate Licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Maintain protection and control of the dealt game and components (Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat, or other permitted games).
• Conduct games in accordance with company policies and regulations; handle player transactions and notify Floor Supervisor of irregularities.
• Advise Pit Manager or Floor staff of disputes or important player facts; inform on customer needs (e.g., cocktails, Host Service).
• Maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere and promote promotions and policies.

Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for the accuracy and professional, proficient manner in dealing a specific table game according to the Company’s policies and procedures and in compliance with Gaming regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all time. Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt, Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat, or other table games permitted in the jurisdiction. Conducts the games in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying Floor Supervisor of any irregularities. Advises Pit Manager or Floor person of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game. Informs Floor Supervisor or other personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action. Maintains a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience, and notifying Floor Supervisor of any customer needs i.e., cocktails, Host Service, etc. Promotes departmental and property wide promotions. Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as the Company’s internal controls, policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record. Any reasonable request made by management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
