Job summary

Esri in Redlands, California is seeking a Contracts & Pricing Specialist to support pricing models, master purchasing agreements, and enterprise programs. You will capture offer details to meet business goals and drive risk mitigation and process improvements.

Coordinate with Contracts, Sales, and Operations to review offers, manage Master Purchasing and Multinational Agreements, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of work experience supporting master purchasing agreements and enterprise programs.
  • Experience with commercial software pricing models and strategy.
  • A background in pricing analysis and/or pricing catalogs.
  • Ability to manage multiple business priorities while maintaining confidentiality of pricing, reporting, and terms of contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Detail oriented with high accuracy and proficient with Microsoft Office reporting and spreadsheets.

  • Learn and Grow. Coordinate with teams to review offers, approve when required, and administer Master Purchasing Agreements and Multinational Agreements; maintain documentation.
  • Build relationships. Work with Contracts, Sales, and Operations to manage programs and workflows; participate in projects around pricing and other business managed items.

Job description

Overview

At Esri, our team supports strategic sales positioning, procurement, programs, and processes. We interact with business development and operational teams from various industries and governments. We invite you to use your strong organizational skills and experience to support our sales division with sales agreements, programs, and sales best practices. You will capture details of offers to meet business needs and sales goals. You will use your skills to build relationships, mitigate risk, and drive resolution, growth, and process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Results. Leverage best practices for pricing models to multiple stakeholders. Develop, document, and maintain policies and procedures for all aspects of the pricing tools and programs including contracts and database management.
  • Communicate and Collaborate. Use your knowledge of contracts, pricing, and sales agreements to update all stakeholders regarding new product releases, pricing updates, business models, and program entitlements.
  • Learn and Grow. Utilize your knowledge of Esri products and services to coordinate with multiple teams to review offers, coordinate approvals when required, and administer Master Purchasing Agreements, Multinational Agreements, and EA Programs. Maintain documentation for Master Purchasing agreements and Multinational Agreements
  • Build relationships. Work closely with Contracts, Sales, and Operations to manage programs and workflows. Be an active member of projects around part number functionality, pricing, and other business managed under Corporate Accounts.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of work experience supporting master purchasing agreements and enterprise programs
  • Experience with commercial software pricing models and strategy
  • A background in pricing analysis and/or pricing catalogs
  • Ability to manage multiple business priorities in addition to maintaining confidentiality of pricing, reporting, and terms of contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly reporting functionality and spreadsheets
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to ~10%); travel needs may vary based on business requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications
  • Familiarity with basic SAP functionality and reporting concepts
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of software licensing, software, intellectual property, and basic contract structures
  • Knowledge of Esri product models, licensing, and maintenance programs
  • Understanding of the sales process
  • Master’s degree in business, management, economics, or a related field

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is: $70,304 USD – $98,280 USD
