Job description

Deal Desk Program Manager, AWS Partner Agreements

Job ID: 10572393 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.

AWS Partner Agreements is building the operational backbone for how AWS structures, executes, and governs its partner agreement programs at scale. We are looking for a Deal Desk Program Manager to run the engine: processing high-volume partner agreement nominations, executing deals end-to-end, managing post-signature compliance, and building the automations that make the entire operation faster. You will operate a system-driven deal desk where bulk partner nominations flow through automated qualification gates, then land on your desk for execution. You will process deals through automated workflows, triage edge cases, coordinate across legal, finance, and field teams, and own the full post-signature lifecycle. You will also be the person who identifies where the system breaks and builds the tactical fixes: scripts, workflow enhancements, CPQ improvements, and process automations that increase throughput. This is a high-ownership, high-volume role. You will be the first and last person to touch most deals. Your feedback on friction points, system gaps, and edge cases directly shapes how the deal desk evolves.

Key job responsibilities
  • Operate the deal desk at scale: process partner agreement nominations through qualification, approval, execution, and documentation workflows
  • Triage nominations that fall outside standard criteria, assess edge cases, and route exceptions to senior leadership or BD leads when strategic judgment is needed
  • Own post-signature operations: compliance tracking, partner onboarding, reporting obligations, and agreement lifecycle management
  • Build tactical automations across the deal cycle: identify manual bottlenecks and create scripts, workflow enhancements, CPQ improvements, and system integrations that increase throughput
  • Maintain data integrity in systems of record and produce operational reporting on deal volume, cycle times, and funnel health
  • Coordinate across legal, finance, field teams, and BD leads on deal-level questions, process improvements, and exception resolution
  • Surface patterns from deal execution to inform workflow refinement and program iteration
A day in the life

You start the morning processing a batch of partner nominations through the deal desk: checking eligibility, moving deals through approvals, triaging the edge cases. By midday you're coordinating with legal on a contract question and updating a field team on deal status. After lunch you review compliance checkpoints on active agreements and build a quick script to automate a manual step that's been slowing you down. You end the day pulling operational metrics, spotting a pattern in where deals get stuck, and feeding it back to improve the system. Every day is a mix of execution, coordination, and building.

About the team

We're a small team responsible for how AWS runs its partner agreement programs end-to-end. We design the programs, bring partners in, execute the agreements, and track performance after the ink is dry. The team sits at a crossroads: legal, finance, sales operations, field teams, and engineering all intersect here. You will work with all of them regularly. Our internal customers are the AWS field teams and partner managers who rely on us to move agreements efficiently. Our external customers are the partners themselves. We're in the middle of a transformation from manual, spreadsheet-driven processes to a scalable, automated platform. That means there's a lot to build and a lot of ownership available. If you like greenfield work, fast iteration, and seeing your improvements show up in the numbers the next week, this is that kind of team.

Diverse Experiences

AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn't followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don't let it stop you from applying.
