Mn State Academies in Faribault is hiring an intermittent Paraprofessional to support deaf and hard of hearing students in SEPA roles. The position provides substitute classroom instruction and student management under supervision.

Qualified applicants have at least two years of college credits (or an associate degree), are fluent in American Sign Language, and can read and write English. Schedule is day shift, Monday–Friday, per the school calendar.

Formación

• Two years of college credits (≈60 credits) from an accredited institution.
• An associate’s or higher degree.
• Passing score on Parapro/Paraeducator assessment.
• Knowledge of deaf/hard of hearing students and educational practices.
• Fluency in American Sign Language.
• Ability to read and write English to understand policies and education plans.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substitute paraprofessional instructional support and student management at MSAD.
• Assist in design and delivery of instructional programs for deaf/hard of hearing or deaf/blind students.
• Use varied techniques to encourage appropriate student behaviors.
