Primary Purpose: Deaf education aides are utilized to enhance the special education instructional program for hearing impaired students in the school’s mainstream working with general ed. teachers, deaf education teachers/staff, and hearing impaired students.
Qualifications:
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Equipment Used: Copier, personal computer, assistive technology and audiovisual equipment.
Maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motion. Moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting. Works outside and inside.
